The Partagás Maduro series extends the brand's original style, aiming to offer darker wrappers and flavor options with a natural sweetness. In Cuba's official product line, cigars bearing the "Maduro" name are rare; besides the Cohiba Maduro 5 series, Partagás is one of the few brands with its own dedicated Maduro series.

The Maduro No. 2 has a dark brown to near-dark chocolate wrapper with a slightly oily sheen. It has a smooth, slightly velvety texture and is tightly rolled yet elastic.

The flavor profile is primarily earthy, dark roast coffee, and raw chocolate. The smoke is thick and plentiful.


In the mid-palate, the flavors become more integrated; the initially prominent earthy and bittersweet coffee notes recede slightly, and a berry-like sweetness emerges.
Towards the finish, aromas reminiscent of peanut butter or nut butter are noticeable, accompanied by a dark roast coffee aftertaste.
